Senate Democratic Leader Rebecca Perkins Kwoka: “While in office, Sununu repeatedly tried to put Granite Staters’ health care on the chopping block by voting for cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Now Sununu’s supporting Donald Trump’s Big Ugly Bill — saying he would’ve voted for it — even though it made massive cuts to Medicaid and threatens additional cuts to Medicare, while weakening New Hampshire’s health care system and failing to stop Granite Staters’ insurance from spiking.”

While Sununu has been in lockstep with Trump on his war in Iran and tariffs, the UNH Survey Center has found that a majority of Granite Staters disapprove of both of them. And although Sununu has seen some of his stock holdings grow in value, 78 percent of Granite Staters say their cost of living has risen this year, with gas and groceries the most often cited as increasing.”
